Friotex has designed and executed the expansion of the processing, freezing, and preservation plant for frozen fish at Trading Mauritania S.A.
Five years ago, we successfully completed the first phase of the project, which included climate-controlled rooms, freezing chambers, and freezing tunnels. Now, we have taken on the new expansion, which includes:
- Insulation, doors, and access points with PIR/BS1d0 panels.
- Refrigeration systems for hallways, reception, and dispatch areas, with dehumidification to minimize ice in negative-temperature chambers.
- 3 positive-temperature chambers and 4 negative-temperature chambers with Shut-Up defrosting systems.
- 6 rapid freezing tunnels for export processes, with a daily capacity of 60 TN/day.
The refrigeration system has been designed to achieve maximum usability and safety, using refrigerants such as R134a, R1234yf, R404A, RS50, and R449A. Compressor units (BITZER) and air coolers (Güntner) have been specifically tailored to the client’s unique needs. Additionally, we implemented an advanced control and maintenance system to ensure maximum energy efficiency and stability. We continue to innovate in the refrigeration industry for the fishing sector!
